SUNBROIDERY STITCH-ALONG
Longing for a laid-back summer-camp feeling?
Me too! That's why I created this fun anytime stitch-along!
What's a Sunbroidery?!
Maybe you remember making vibrant blue and white sun prints, or cyanotypes, as a kid.
A cyanotype is made by placing objects like leaves and flowers on special sensitive paper, exposing it to sunlight, then rinsing it in water to watch the image develop. Magic!
"Sunbroidery" is basically the same thing, only printing on fabric that we can stitch!
In this class I'll share my tips and tricks for creating one-of-a kind sun prints on fabric. You'll learn embroidery stitches and get inspiration for ways to embroider your prints. We'll discuss your projects and I'll answer questions in the comments. And when you're finished, I'll show you fun ideas for projects to make with your unique Sunbroideries!
